Volunteering is one of the best ways to be involved and support your local community. I have volunteered for many local causes and found it to be fun and rewarding.
I would welcome any volunteers to my campaign. It doesn’t mean a huge time commitment. A little bit goes a long way. If you are interested in volunteering please fill out the form at the bottom of this page
A. Host a meet & greet fundraiser
I would welcome the opportunity to meet new people, members of your neighborhood, and here ideas of how to improve Chapel Hill. Possibilities could include a coffee hour, wine and cheese on a weeknight, or a potluck dinner.
B. Work Polling locations during early voting and on election day
This is critical and very important work. It involves being at the voting locations and sharing information (pamphlets) about my platform and how I want to make Chapel Hill a better place. Of course you should ask people to vote for me too!
C. Canvassing and walking neighborhoods
This is one of the best ways to get to know the community. I plan to accompany these excursions. I have a list of people most likely to vote. Even if folks aren’t home, we can leave a door hanger or card and they will get to know the cause.
D. Give money and/or raise money
Campaigns do cost money. I pledge to use every dollar wisely. Even small donations can help. Chapel Hill has a maximum donation limit of $336 per individual.
E. Other ways to volunteer and help
If none of the above piques your interest, there are many other ways to help. These can range from bringing food, helping design brochures and putting up campaign signs. I welcome your support. Thanks.
